Materials: 300 yards worsted weight yarn, size 7 or 8 knitting needles, darning needle (Not included in the cost of registration. All materials available for purchase in the store).
Learn the basics of knit and purl while making an adorable stuffed bunny and starting a simple scarf. We will go over casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off, as well as avoiding some common mistakes.

Description: Toys are a fast and fun way to learn new techniques. The owls are great for newer knitters, and include knitting, purling, decreasing, and seaming. Acorns are for more intermediate knitters, and are knit in the round on double-pointed needles with increases, decreases, and i-cord. These toys can be addictive, and you might go home to start making a whole flock of owls or a tree’s worth of acorns!
Materials: For owls you need two colors of yarn in any size, needles that will make a dense fabric with your yarn, and two safety eyes or buttons. For acorns you need two colors of yarn in any size, and double-pointed needles that will make a dense fabric with your yarn. For all toys you need a yarn needle and scissors.

We’ll go over the chain stitch, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet, as well as how to weave in ends and make a pompom! No experience necessary, open to ages 10-110.
Materials: 300 yards of worsted weight or aran weight yarn, size G or H crochet hook, darning needle, sharp scissors, optional: 20 yards of contrasting color yarn for pompom tail.

Cables are easy to make, and can be used for incredible texture and design. Learn how to work cables and traveling stitches both with and without a cable needle, as well as how to read cable stitch patterns. If you’re ready to move beyond simple knit/purl patterns, this is the class for you!

Materials: 30 yards smooth, easy to see yarn (fine to bring small amounts of different yarns/colors), crochet hook in an appropriate size for your yarn.
Motifs are small pieces crocheted in the round, which can be attached to make embellishments, blankets, bags, and more. Take your crochet to the next level! We’ll go over the basics of crocheting in the round while making two different squares and a rounded flower motif. You’ll also learn how to read crochet stitch diagrams.
